In the past America has defeated some of the world's greatest evils as well as fought in some of the greatest battles. From the jungles of Iwo Jima, to the icy forests of the Ardennes, to the beaches of Normandy, America has always been quick to fight and determined to win.

America is facing a new enemy, however. This enemy is possibly more threatening than any fought before. Why is this? Because this evil cannot be fought. America's new nemesis, is itself.

Our country that used to stand for justice, freedom, and above all common sense, is a thing of the past. Principles and morals have eroded away with this new generation of pacifistic men and emotional women put in political power.

They pity the terrorists that would slit our throats; they're fighting to ban guns to defend our families. America is no more a threat to the evils in this world than a toothless tiger.

The US has abandoned all reason for madness. Murdering babies, protecting the squirrels. Slandering our troops, supporting muslim countries. I firmly believe this country won't survive the century. The noose around the USA's neck is slowly tightening.

How can this nation protect itself.......from itself?

2Ch 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Psa 33:12  Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

Psa 144:15  Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.

Can't beat those answers!

No, America's god is not The Lord.  America is not Christian, it's God is itself.  However, in the verse quoted, The Lord says "If my people, which are called by my name" God is referring to His people, He is referring to Christians.  If we humble ourselves, and pray, and seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways; then will He hear from heaven, and will forgive our sin, and will heal our land. God does not forget his promises.  He is faithful.

While the end times are definitely coming, We can also take comfort in the Psa 144:15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD. There is also comfort in Proverbs 16:7; 7 - When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

The reality is that there is no hope for America, except for the hope that finds it's rest in The Lord.  In Matthew 24:35 God tells us that "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."  God is eternal, and through him we have everlasting life.  This is not our home, Praise the Lord!
